Raw Power Meets Absolute Solitude
Carved into the Sedona hillside, The Monolith challenges the traditional notion of “high desert living.”
Designed by the visionary studio behind the famed Concrete Series, this residence is a masterclass in material purity. The structure is composed of raw board-formed concrete, massive glass panes, and custom steel pivots that bleed seamlessly into the rock.
The home is oriented to the winter solstice, ensuring that light interacts with the brutalist angles in a way that shifts seasonally, turning the primary living volume into a functional sundial.
