Dematerializing the Alpine Cabin
Suspended among the Aspens, this glass pavilion challenges the traditional notion of the “heavy log cabin.”
Designed by the visionary studio behind the famed Timber Series, this residence is a masterclass in structural lightness. The structure is composed of glulam spruce beams, floor-to-ceiling performance glass, and polished concrete flooring.
The home is oriented to the shifting snowlines, ensuring that light interacts with the exposed joinery in a way that shifts seasonally, turning the central living volume into a soft, light-filled sanctuary.
