The New York Industrial Archetype
Tucked away in historic Soho, Mercer Street Loft challenges the traditional notion of “urban apartment living.”
Designed by the visionary studio behind the famed Cast-Iron Restoration Series, this residence is a masterclass in historical contrast. The structure is composed of original 1900 Corinthian columns, exposed load-bearing brick, and imported Italian millwork modules.
The home is oriented to capture indirect northern city light, ensuring that the sun interacts with the original brick textures in a way that shifts seasonally, bathing the massive open floor plan in a soft, artistic glow.
